Understanding interfaces for silicon-based tandem solar cells

Zitian obtained her BEng in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University and Queen Mary University of London, graduating with First Class Honours from QMUL. During her undergraduate studies, her research focused on the interfacial modulation of wide-bandgap perovskite photovoltaic devices using diamine halides and the suppression of halide phase segregation in the perovskite layer. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, reading world geography magazines and Chinese cultural heritage magazines, and playing interactive story games. For her Master by Research, she will focus on developing new dielectric material fabrication techniques to improve the performance of tandem solar cells.
