Matthew is a postdoctoral research associate in the Electronic and Interface Materials Laboratory.
Matthew completed a Bachelor of Photovoltaic Engineering at UNSW Sydney in 2010, from which he graduated with first class honours. He later completed a PhD in Photovoltaic Engineering at UNSW Sydney, funded by an Australian Postgraduate award. His PhD studies focussed on designing the blend composition in bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaic devices. Following this, he was awarded a research fellowship by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (2018) to study the impact of hydrogenation processes on high efficiency n-type silicon cell architectures. Matthew has authored 50 journal papers and his work has been cited > 2300 times.
